Hi, I’m Luna, and I live and create at the intersection of many worlds:

I am a shamanic practitioner following the teachings of the mexican curanderos Lineage of Veracruz, Reiki practitioner and facilitator of “The Work That Reconnects.
I also hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology and am passionate about Science, particularly biology.

My take on Healing & Science
As my shaman teacher says, medicine is medicine. It can come in the form of a pill, a hug, a word or an energetic treatment.
It is of my highest concern to work towards bridging western medicine and alternative therapies, recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of both.
What I learnt being in science for many years, including cutting-edge research in the field of molecular medicine and epigenetics, is to always have a healthy DOUBT. To never take anything for an absolute truth, neither the old proven theories, nor the newest discoveries. Anything can be proven wrong at any moment and it actually happens a lot.
A true scientist is an experimenter, playing at the edge between the known and the UNKNOWN. Pretending to hold on to any truth in that delicate dance with the unknown is misleading and illusory.
A true scientist will always doubt.
They never stop asking new questions and researching new answers, even to the questions that were already answered! This is the pure, uncorrupted spirit of science, of knowing just for the sake of knowing, out of thirst for knowledge, out of genuine curiosity. The science I stand for, is NOT done to fuel any propaganda, to drive the market in a specific direction, to prove anyone’s point.
Unfortunately, this way of doing science is rare out there. And this is one of the reasons why I left that field.
However, I am not giving up on that important cause and I trust in a positive shift that is already happening. I want you to know that science, as I intend it, has been and still is a crucial component of my life and of the work I bring today, even and especially the healing work - as contradicting as this may seem.
At a closer look, you will find that ancient shamanic wisdom and modern science are related and not so different after all.
The shaman dances with the unknown...similarly to the scientist.
What needs to shift, is how we relate to both paradigms. On the New Earth I dream of and I work to build, people have taken back full responsibility for their health and consciously use any tools available to them for that purpose. Medicine done just for business and to keep us in fear and victim mentality will gradually leave the place to new technologies, that (if used wisely and in connection with the heart), will enable whole new scenarios of healing physical illnesses.
